And relief to the hurting
Delivers love to the hated
And courage for the fearful.
He is your sun.
But one must always take heed
And remember the nature of a sun
For it is not a constant.
It may shine high in the sky.
It may signal hope for a new day.
It may burn brightly with vigor
And bring color to your lives
With its life-giving light.
But do not forget—
That even the sun
In all of its brilliance
Can be darkened
By an eclipse.
